RUSSIA. 2003 In Russia, I had a funny feeling of being continuously observed. Despite the multitude of advertising billboards, I sensed poverty and desperation. Many men and women travel the subways with an open beer bottle in hand. I felt I was in another universe. I wish I could have travelled in the countryside because I felt that there was more to this Country that meets the eye. If I had the opportunity, I would return to Russia.
